Funeral services for Delireen Da'Pri Autry, 18, of Mesquite, TX, are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Hiett's LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. The family requests that all attendees where a mask at services. Burial will be held at Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, September 24, 2021, at Hiett's LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.
Life Reflection of Delire’en Da’Pri Autry
Delire’en Da’Pri Autry AKA Lerie entered eternal rest September14, 2021 at the age of 18. Lerie was born in Terrell, Tx. Lerie was raised in Wills Point Tx from 2002-2011 were he enjoyed working on the ranch and going fishing with his Papa Eddie, playing football, riding horses, going to church and just being a kid. When he grew a little older, he moved to Mesquite Tx in 2010-2021, he continued loving all the things that he did as child. Delire’en was wise beyond his years and grew up knowing that if a man doesn’t work, he doesn’t eat and with these morals instilled in him, he grew up to be a respectable young man. He had dreams and ambitions of becoming a cowboy and a fireman one day. He wanted to be able to take care of his mother just as she did for him, he was very protective, and loved his family very much. Lerie, had the most infectious smile, with a big heart, and a canny since of humor. He was quite the comedian and love to sing, dance, and rap. Everyone knew when he said, “And Then He Said” the rap was about to begin. Lerie was well known for his athletic skills, his politeness, and his down to earth personality. Lerie attended John Horn High School, where he would have graduated in 2022. He was a member of Peoples Community Church under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Darrel C. Hammond. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those he loved and who loved him.
Delireen was preceded in death by his Grandfathers Eddie Kennedy, Ricky Jackson, and Charles Thomas Mills.
Delireen is survived by his parents Rishika Autry and James Mills; his 3 sisters Ja’Mayra Mills, Ta’Maya Mills, and Ka’Nedrea Mills; his Grandmother Mary Autry Kennedy; his Aunt Carinda Autry- Humphrey (Matthew Humphrey) and his Best Friend Sam Smith. Lerie leaves behind a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends that loved him unconditionally.
