Debra "Debbie" Brinson Null

A celebration of life for Debra “Debbie” Brinson Null, 67, of Edgewood, TX, is scheduled for 7:00 PM, Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Edgewood. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.

Debbie Null passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, in Tyler.

Debra Brinson was born on August 15, 1955, to parents, Andrew Daniel Brinson and Thelma Taylor Brinson. She was raised in Florida and graduated from James A. Shank High School. Debbie married Robert “Stan” Null on April 12, 1980, in Dallas where they made their home. She worked at Twin 60’s Hotel and started her career in the funeral business at Cranes Funeral Home as a detail clerk secretary. Debbie and Stan later opened Metro Crest Funeral Home in Carrollton in 1988. She was of the Christian faith. She loved the beach life and travel after early retirement. Debbie and Stan later made their home in Edgewood.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Thelma Brinson; brother, Danny Brinson.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Stan Null of Edgewood, TX; daughters, Tonya Null Hintze and husband Matthew, of Mississippi and Jennifer Null of Edgewood, TX; mother-in-law, Bernice Null of Edgewood, TX; sister, Linda Whigham of Newnan, GA; grandchildren, Garrison, McKenzie, Hunter, Bryce, Caid and Ryder; great grandchildren, Keegan, Finley and Knox; along with many nieces and nephews.
