Deborah Katheryn Estess

Private graveside services for Deborah “Debbie” Katheryn Estess, 64, of Edgewood, will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2020, at Oak Hill Cemetery.  Services are under direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.

Debbie passed away April 27, 2020, in Terrell.

Deborah Katheryn Estess was born July 15, 1955 in Humbolt, TN, to John William Simon, Jr. and Julia Fay Mitchell Simon.  She was raised in Memphis and then graduated from Tupelo, MS.  She then attended North East Community Junior College in Booneville, MS, where she acquired her dental technician certificate.  She married and then later divorced.  Debbie moved to Edgewood in 1997, to make her home.  She attended Turner Baptist Church in Wills Point. She was an accomplished artist and also enjoyed reading.

Debbie is survived by her parents, John and Julia Simon, Jr. of Broken Arrow, OK; daughter, Landi Stewart and husband Nick of Edgewood; brother, John Simon, III and wife Tera of Broken Arrow, OK; grandchildren, Riley and Rorey; and numerous other relatives and friends.
