He loved working for Saddle Creek; he cared about his drivers and their families. He found a lot of joy in this job and took great pleasure in taking care of his drivers. He understood them, and it showed.

He was a man of simple pleasures. He enjoyed his tools and working in the yard and home with his wife and a beer on the porch. Loved the occasional fishing trip. He also enjoyed reading, cooking, watching good movies, and having a laugh. loved eating candy and laughing with his grandchildren as well as watching old cartoons like Charlie Brown and the looney toons he also loved Disney movies. He loved to buy toys and play games he was a child at heart, and his kids and grandkids were a great excuse.
