Clarence Lynn Yarbrough, born September 11, 1946, in Edgewood, TX, to the late Alva and Eva Yarbrough, peacefully passed away on March 22, 2024, at his home in his cherished recliner.
Lynn is survived by his beloved wife, Judi Yarbrough of Canton, who cherished him dearly. He leaves behind his loving daughters, Tami Wylie and her husband Jason of England, and Maegan Flores and her husband Charlie of Mineola. Lynn was immensely proud of his grandsons, Christian Wylie, Braxton, Greyson, and Caleb Flores. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Lou Ann Neumann, nieces Paula Williams and Ashley Marx, and nephews Robert Neumann, Dale, Seth, and Adam Miller.
Lynn is preceded in death by his sister, Jerri Maxcey Timms, and brother-in-law, Michael Neumann.
Lynn's early years were marked by his academic and athletic achievements. He attended school in Edgewood where he excelled in football, basketball, and baseball, earning recognition for his skills. As a dedicated member of the Future Farmers of America, he cultivated a passion for agriculture that would stay with him throughout his life. After graduation, Lynn pursued further education at Draughn’s Business College, earning a degree in accounting.
In 1966, Lynn joined the United States Air Force, where he served with distinction, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. His service took him to South Korea, where he fulfilled his duties with honor before being honorably discharged.
Throughout his life, Lynn found joy in working with his hands and spending time outdoors. He dedicated many years to various professions, including driving a propane truck and working for Edgewood Lumber Yard and Perry’s Towing. Upon retirement, he pursued his passion for landscaping by establishing Texas Lawncare, where he continued to work until his passing.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate Lynn's life is scheduled for 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Edgewood, TX.
