Casey Bonteel Jones

A visitation for Casey Jones, 55, of Canton, TX, will be held Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 PM. Casey’s body will be laid to rest Friday, September 19, 2025, at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Casey passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025, in Paris, TX.

Casey Bonteel Jones was born on January 17, 1970, in Tyler, TX, to Bonteel Jones and Nora Hope Frailey. Raised in Canton, Casey lived in a group home at the Anderson Center for 25 years. His role there was to make tea for the other residents, and he considered them all family. Known for his independence, Casey enjoyed attending the Methodist Church in Canton, where he loved singing. Later in life, he moved to Educare Community Living in Paris.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bonteel Jones and Nora Hope Frailey; and brother-in-law, Larry Bearden.

Casey is survived by his sisters, Sherry Culver of Dallas, TX, and Shirley Bearden of Forney, TX, as well as several nieces and nephews.
