Carol Ann Henson, 78, of Kemp, formerly of Wills Point, passed away April 19, 2020, at her home in Kemp.
She was born May 19, 1941, to the late Homer Alaska Raymond and Fannie Faye Witherspoon Raymond. She was raised in the East Texas area, where she met and married John Henson on May 6, 1960, in Dallas. They lived in various places and relocated back to Wills Point in 1982. Carol loved to go to garage sales and bought out storage units, so that she could resale or repurpose items.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Henson; son, Michael Jones; and sister, Wilda Lowerimore.
Carol is survived by her daughters, Sherry Laferriere of Texas and Peggy Allard of Florida; brother, Lonnie Home Raymond of Lindale; and fiancé, John Putney of Kemp; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
