Carol Rose Francis

A memorial service for Carol Rose Francis, 78, of Belton, TX, will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 25, 2019, at Temple Bible Church in Temple. TX.

Carol Rose Miller was born November 21, 1940, in Lodi, California, to parents, Willard Miller and Helen Ruff. She was raised by her father and his wife, Cecil in Pampa, TX, and graduated from Pampa High School. Carol married Curtis Beard, the father of her children, in 1960. She attended Hardin Simmons and Texas Tech University and later obtained her master’s degree from North Texas State University, now known as University of North Texas. Carol Married Bill Francis in 1992, and they made their home in Amarillo until moving to Belton. She was a passionate educator that started as a business teacher and later became a career counselor for Killeen ISD. Carol was a member of Temple Bible Church in Temple. She loved quilting and traveling, but what she loved most was her family.

Carol passed away Saturday, July 13, 2019.

She is preceded in death by her parents and step-mother, Cecil, husband, William “Bill” Francis and daughter, Chandra Beard.

Carol is survived by her sons, Coyle Beard and wife, Debbie of Houston and Cayle Beard and wife, Wendy of Wills Point; daughter, Cynthia Hallmark Taylor of Killeen; grandchildren, Jordan, Courtney, Caden, Caleb, Clayton, Colton and Terry.
