Carlson “Blane” Brewer, Sr., 66, of Edgewood, TX, passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021, in Canton, TX.

Blane was born on July 23, 1954, in Dallas, TX, to parents, Tommy Kenneth Brewer and Virginia Nell Mosley. He was raised in Edgewood and attended Edgewood High School. Blane married Connie Joyce Taylor in Norko, Louisiana, on July 21, 1984. He and Connie lived in Mesquite for a short time, then moving to Evergreen, LA for 18 years before making Edgewood home in 2009. Connie preceded him in death in 2017. Blane worked in the construction industry for most of his life.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Connie Joyce Brewer; mother, Virginia Mosley.

Blane is survived by his father, Tommy K. Brewer; son, Blane Brewer; brothers, John Russo, Philip Brewer and Jason Huber; sisters, Vannessa Wilmon and Jennifer Huber; along with many other family members and friends.
