Bonnie Modlin Obituary

Bonnie Jean Modlin, 84, of Edgewood, TX, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, in Tyler. She was born on December 8, 1937, in Anderson, IN to parents, Thomas Jewel Masters and Chalus Smith Masters. Bonnie was raised in Anderson where she graduated from high school. She married Bobby L. Modlin and they had a son David, later getting a divorce. Bonnie worked as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service in Anderson until retirement. She moved to Edgewood in 2010, to be near her son. Bonnie was a member of the Edgewood Church of Christ. She was very crafty and enjoyed making things with her hands.

She is preceded by her parents, Thomas and Chalus Masters.

Bonnie is survived by her son, David Modlin and wife, Stephanie of Wills Point, TX; sister, Diana Dunham of Indiana; grandchildren, Chelsea Brittain and husband, Neil of Kyle, TX, and Camron McSpedden and husband, Justin of Canton, TX; great grandchildren, Kinzey Brittain, Audrey Brittain and Conner McSpedden.
