Billy Wayne Perry

Graveside services for Billy Wayne Perry, 68, of Edgewood, is scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, May 14, 2020, at Small Cemetery, just north of Edgewood.  Services are under direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6-8 Pm Wednesday evening in Wills Point.

Billy passed away May 8, 2020, at his home in Edgewood.

Billy Wayne Perry was born August 18, 1951, to the late Burnie Lee Perry and Frances Louella Smith Perry.  He was raised in the Rockwall and Terrell areas.  Billy married Marlys Anna Carlson at Pleasant Union Baptist Church in the Small Community of Edgewood in 1983.  He was a self-employed sheet rocker in the construction industry.

Billy raised chickens and was an avid fisherman.  He just recently became ill and passed away at his home.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents and four sisters.

He is survived by his wife Marty Perry of Edgewood; sisters, Trish Marical of Edgewood, Frances Cupit of Denton and Charlotte Speer of Alba; and  many nieces and nephews.
