Memorial services for Beverly Marie Phillips, 71, of Wills Point, TX, will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, August 15, 2020, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Beverly passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2020, at a hospital in Plano.

Beverly Marie McIntosh was born on August 22, 1948, in Robstown, TX, to parents, Edward Lee and Willie Mae Herrington McIntosh. She was raised in Rockport, TX, where she attended school. Beverly married Charles Edward Phillips in Grand Prairie in 1991. They lived in Grand Prairie before moving to Wills Point in 2001 to make their home. Beverly was a homemaker all of her life. Her greatest accomplishment was to be the best mother and grandma possible. She was an attendee of Seven Oaks Baptist Church. Gardening was her passion. She was a nurturer and could make anything grow or bloom. Beverly loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward Lee McIntosh and Willie Mae Herrington; brothers and sisters, Marvin Ray (Buddy) McIntosh, Edward LeRoy (Sonny) McIntosh, Rhoda Aliene (Sissy) Denton, Estella Louise McIntosh and William Hamilton (Billy) McIntosh.

Beverly is survived by her husband, Charles Edward Phillips; children, James Darrin Poarch and wife, Cherie of Sulfur Springs and Debra Kaye Zurn of Terrell; sister, Carol Jean Mancuso of College Station; seven grandchildren, Lee, Kasie, Susanna, Christian, Keisha, Alexis and Ryan; twelve great grandchildren, Zaeden, Whitlen, Sunlyn, Lane, Emma, Levi, Caroline, Jane, James, Ada, Hallie and Aden; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
