Barbara "Jean" McAdams

Barbara Jean McAdams passed away March 27, 2021, in Sunnyvale, TX.  No services are scheduled at this time.

Barbara Jean McAdams was born June 27, 1933, in Dallas, TX, to the late Bennie Ellis and Aliene Brown Ellis.  She was raised in Dallas and attend Woodrow Wilson High School.  She married Jimmy McAdams in Dallas on November 17, 1955, and he preceded her in death in 2005.  They live in Dallas most of their life near White Rock Lake.  They lived in various places before moving to Wills Point in 2001, to make their home.  Jean was a member of Elwood Baptist Church in Wills Point.

Jean loved reading, crafting and making different things for her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Jean is survived by her daughters, Karen Townson and husband, David of Wills Point; Sharon Woolverton and husband, Rick of Phalba; Terry Yates and husband, Leon of Canton; son, Mike McAdams and wife, Robin of Seagoville; brother, Bennis Ellis and wife, Susie of Missouri; thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
