Ashling Nicole Hatten, beloved wife, mother, daughter, and sister, passed away peacefully at her home in Wills Point, TX, on August 2, 2024, at the age of 29. Born on September 21, 1994, in Midland, TX, Ashling was the cherished daughter of William Newton Keeth and Toinette Lorena Laws.
Growing up in Wills Point, Ashling graduated from high school in 2013, where she formed lifelong friendships and developed her love for reading, particularly the Harry Potter series. On June 16, 2018, she married Nathan Hatten, Jr. at Round’Em up Cowboy Church, and together they built a loving home for their son, Jaxtyn. Ashling's greatest joy was being a mother, and she dedicated herself to nurturing and raising her son with love and care.
Ashling had a creative spirit and enjoyed crafting, leaving behind many beautiful handmade treasures that will be cherished by her family. She also had a passion for travel, always eager to explore new places and create lasting memories with her loved ones.
Ashling is survived by her devoted husband, Nathan Hatten, Jr.; her beloved son, Jaxtyn; her father, William Keeth of Wills Point, TX; her mother, Toinette Laws of New Braunfels, TX; her in-laws, Sherre and Nathan Hatten Sr. of Wills Point, TX; her brother-in-law, Dylan Hatten and his wife Katelynn of Wills Point, TX; her sister, Shalla Laws and her husband Adam Merriott of Wills Point, TX; her sister, Jessica Keeth of Colorado; her sister-in-law, Kirsten Hatten of Lovington, NM; and her grandparents, Sheila and Charles Laws of Wills Point, TX. She also leaves behind her dear nephews, Rhett Merriott, Dawson Hatten, Solomon McDonald, and Elisah McDonald; and her cherished nieces, Addilynn Goggans, Dylan Hatten, and Carae Perry.
Ashling's memory will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. Her warmth, creativity, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Visitation for friends and family will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Monday, August 5, 2024.
