Graveside services for Arthur Paul McLemore, 79, of Mabank, TX, are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 21, 2023, at White Rose Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Arthur passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023.

Arthur Paul McLemore was born on October 19, 1943, in Wills Point, TX, to parents Percy Joe McLemore and Amie Ruth Furrh McLemore. He was raised in Wills Point where he attended school. Arthur later moved to Athens around the age of 16. He was a steel worker in the construction industry for most of his life. Arthur was of the Baptist faith. He had many hobbies, but most of all loved to be outdoors.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Percy and Amie McLemore; sister, Dorthy Adair; brother-in-law, Thomas Ham.

Arthur is survived by his sisters, Helen Ham of DeSoto, TX, and Annette Sherman and husband Jimmy of Springdale, AR; nieces and nephews, Pamela Green, Steve Ham, Priscilla Sherrard, Lisa Adair, Sharon Adair, Susan Booker, Tina Counts, Jimmy Sherman, Michael Adair, Bobby Adair and Jerry Adair.
