Private funeral services for Annie “Ann” Martha Marshall, 83, of Canton, TX, are scheduled for Monday, January 4, 2021, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Ann passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, in Athens, TX.

Annie Martha McBride was born on October 2, 1937, in Monaghan, Ireland, to parents, Michael McBride and Alice McCaughey McBride. She married Richard Allen Marshall on May 3, 1974, and they made their home in the Canton community in the year 2002. Ann was a Registered Psychiatric Nurse at Presbyterian Hospital for many years before retiring in 1998. She was of the Catholic faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Alice McBride.

Ann is survived by her husband, Richard Marshall of Canton, TX; sister, Tina Morris of Canton, TX; step-son, David Marshall; adopted children, Alison Ayton of Australia and David.
