Allison D'Anne Goodson

In loving memory of Allison D’Anne Goodson, whose radiant spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. Allison, 23, of Forney, TX, peacefully passed away on April 27, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and inspiration.

Born on September 13, 2000, at Baylor Hospital of Garland, TX, Allison's journey was marked by courage in the face of adversity. From her early years in Garland to her cherished time in Forney, she brought joy and warmth to those around her despite battling Cerebral Palsy, seizures, and strokes from the tender age of 2.

Allison's zest for life was evident in her love for classical music until hearing Elvis Presley, her head always swaying to the melodies. She embarked on countless adventures with her devoted parents, Jon Douglas Goodson and Kelley Suzanne Nelson Goodson, traveling and creating cherished memories that will endure forever.

In her final years, Allison was blessed with the dedicated care of her PD nurses - Jemima, Floridah, Prudentia, Jacinta, and Jana - who provided unwavering support and compassion around the clock. Their love and devotion were a source of immense comfort to Allison and her family. Allison was also blessed with Tanner, Robyn and Jonathan for their kind and unique way of caring for and loving their sister, along with the Bedrick’s and PCA for their support and the support from many family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Martha Jane Byrd, Robert Sydney Nelson, Sr., Lewis Henry Goodson and Barbara Lee Gower.

Allison's memory will be forever cherished by her loving parents, Jon and Kelley, her adoring siblings, Tanner Sisemore and wife Kari, Robyn Rosiles and husband Anthony and Jonathan Goodson and wife Theresa, and her beloved nieces and nephews, Jack and Daveigh Ann, Nathanyal, Nicholas and Landon, and Maci, Greyson, Davis and Gavin; along with countless other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Allison's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point, officiated by Pastor Glen Goodson and Mike Bedrick, with burial to follow at Ellis Chapel Cemetery. Visitation hours will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.
