Funeral services for Aaron “Nubbin” Davis, 76, of Wills Point, TX, are scheduled for 3:00 PM, May 12, 2023, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point, TX. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time.

Aaron passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at his home.

Aaron Davis was born on January 19, 1947, in Harrisonburg, LA, to parents William Davis and Margaret Dingler Davis. He was raised in Harrisonburg where he attended school. Aaron was a self-employed plumber and contractor for most of his life. He moved from Gun Barrel City to Wills Point in 2012, to be near family. Aaron enjoyed horses and loved to fish and hunt.  He was known for his wit and sense of humor.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William Davis and Margaret Dingler Tellis; sister, Katie Quinn; brother, Otto Davis.

Aaron is survived by his sons, David Davis and wife, Amanda, Billy Davis and Bobby Davis; sister, Betty Grantham; grandchildren, Colton Murff, Bridgett Wood and Ashton Davis; great grandchildren, Jacob Davis, Wesley Davis and Joshua Wood; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
