Funeral services for Yvette Pinner, 62, of Dallas, TX, are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 27, 2018, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. Burial will follow at White Rose Cemetery.
Yvette passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018, at her home.
Yvette Tubbs Pinner was born May 25, 1956, in Grapevine, TX, to parents, Utah Tubbs and Mabel Brown Tubbs. She was raised in Pleasant Grove early on before moving to Fruitvale. Yvette attended and graduated as Salutatorian from Edgewood High School in 1974. She was involved in various school organizations such as the Bulldog Bark Staff, FHA as an officer, and was also on the drill team and cheer squad. Yvette married Richard “Dick” Pinner in August of 2002, in Dalhart, TX, and they made their home in Dallas. She was an Executive Secretary for Southwestern Life Insurance for many years, she served as an assistant to the director at the Dallas Arboretum, and later as the director of food and beverages at Eastern Hills Country Club in Garland. Yvette was actively involved with the DVO Ministries in Dallas. She enjoyed traveling and playing golf, was a very talented artist, painting and crafting, and loved planning parties. Yvette and Dick enjoyed their home in Maui, Hawaii, spending winters there for over ten years. She loved her family and friends and will be missed by so many.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Utah and Mabel Tubbs.
Yvette is survived by her husband, Richard “Dick” Pinner of Dallas, TX; sons, Cody Lindsey and wife, Lauryn, of Melissa, TX and Richard Pinner of Dallas, TX; daughters, Chasity Cogbill of Dallas, TX and Lisa Pinner of Royse City, TX; siblings, Laura Tubbs, Linda McFarland, Marty Tubbs and Danny Tubbs all of Wills Point, TX and Teresa Simpson of Forney, TX; grandchildren, Colby Cogbill, Aaron Cogbill, Savannah Pinner, Zachary Pinner, Addison Pinner, Seneca Pinner and Mina Lindsey.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, October 26, 2018, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.
