Funeral services for Yadira Villarreal Galope, 68, of Quinlan, TX, are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Monday, October 8, 2018, at Russell Memorial United Methodist Church in Wills Point. Services are under direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.

Yadira passed away October 3, 2018, in Tyler.

Yadira Villarreal was born August 3, 1950, in Del Rio, TX, to parents, Francisco Villarreal and Guadalupe Menchaca. After graduating high school and obtaining her associate’s degree, Yadira worked customer service for Zales & Associates before becoming a paraprofessional for multiple school districts. Yadira married Arthur B. Galope, Sr. on June 27, 1970, in Mineral Wells, TX. She was a member of Russell Memorial United Methodist Church. Yadira was also a member of Church Women’s Groups and Counselor for the Youth Group at Emanu-El UMC. She was a faithful mother, grandmother and a devoted wife.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Guadalupe Villarreal and a brother, Jaime Villarreal.

Yadira is survived by her husband, Arthur B. Galope, Sr. of Quinlan; daughter, LeiLanie Galope of Quinlan; son, Arthur V. Galope, Jr. and wife, Erin, of Wills Point; daughter, Elizabeth L. Galope and soon to be husband, Sergio Martinez, of Grand Prairie; grandchildren, Sarah A. Garay of Quinlan, Adrian J. (A.J.) Galope of Wills Point, Selena J. DeLaCruz of Grand Prairie and Justin T. Galope of Quinlan.

Visitation for friends and family will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Sunday, October 7, 2018, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.
