Terry Alan Rogers

A visitation for Terry Alan Rogers, 52, of Wills Point, will be held from 2:00-4:00 PM, Saturday, May 11, 2019, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Terry passed away Monday, May 6, 2019, in Mesquite, TX.

Terry Alan Rogers was born January 17, 1967, in Pascagoula, MS, to parents, Jerry Lane Rogers and Lilly Reevelon Goodin. He was raised in Pascagoula, MS, and in Theodore, AL, and graduated from Theodore High School. Terry worked for Power Lab for many years, but most recently was employed by Madix as a warehouse lead in shelving manufacturing for a year. He lived most of his life in Theodore, AL, and moved back to Texas to be with his girls. Terry was a die-hard Alabama football fan, loved cooking out with family and friends and enjoyed playing pool. His biggest joys in life were his girls and grandkids. Terry was of the Baptist faith.  

He is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Lane Rogers and his grandparents.

Terry is survived by his mother, Reevelon Goodin Rogers and Flo Thompson of Coden, AL; daughters, Amber Dillon and husband, Larry of Kaufman, TX, Alana Rogers and husband, Alex of Terrell, TX, and Ruby Rogers of Wills Point; brother, Jimmy Scott of Coden, AL; sisters, Sherry Steele and husband, Steve of Lucedale, MS, and Karen Richardson and husband, Michael of Mobile, AL; step-sisters, Le’Ann Adkisson and husband, Dave of Spanish Fort, AL, and Ashley Nelson of Coden, AL; grandchildren, Avah Dillon, Marshall Dillon and Julian Sanchez; aunt, Robin Rivera and husband, Russell of Irvington, AL, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
