Sharon Kaye Burke

Sharon Kaye Burke, 63, of Wills Point passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018, in Tyler.

Sharon Kaye Glover was born January 22, 1955, in Edinburg, TX to parents Ernest Tillman Glover and Dolas Aloha Ethridge. She was raised in Jacksonville, TX and Houma, LA. Sharon married Wendell Burke in Houma, LA on January 9, 1978. She received a Bachelor of Science in nursing from William Carey College in Mississippi and went on to be a Labor and Delivery nurse. Sharon was a very talented seamstress, sewing wedding dresses and loved baking. She was a wonderful wife, a loving mother and absolutely adored all of her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father, Ernest Tillman Glover and a sister, Linda Duplantis.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Bob Burke of Wills Point; mother, Dolas Glover of Houma, LA; sons, Zane Burke of Wills Point and Robert Burke of Van; daughters, Kimberly Burke of Iowa, Sarah Burke of Wills Point and Tonya Spencer of Washington; brothers, Steve Glover, Ernie Glover and Kenny Glover all of Houma, LA; sister, Kathy Cowley of Houma, LA; grandchildren, Claire, Kevin, Janele, Jordan, Caleb, Kinsley, Emma, Zoey, Chloe, Christina and Jimmy.
