Shari Denise Prejean-Rardin

Memorial services for Shari Prejean-Rardin, 56, of Wills Point, TX, are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at First Baptist Church in Edgewood.  Arrangements were made under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.

Shari passed away Friday, June 28, 2019, in Houston.

Shari Denise Prejean was born October 10, 1962, in Jennings, LA, to parents, Ceveron Prejean and Anna Mae Simmon Prejean. She was raised in Jennings where she graduated high school. Shari attended Dallas Christian College and obtained her bachelor’s degree. She married Doug Rardin on August 14, 1999, in Carrollton, TX. They lived in the Dallas metroplex for many years until moving to Edgewood in 2015 to make their home. She was currently an assistant project manager for Southern Glass in Plano. Shari was a member of First Baptist Church in Edgewood where she enjoyed participating in Awanas and ministering children. She enjoyed arts and crafts, cross stitching and loved spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her father, Ceveron Prejean; brothers, Carroll Prejean and Wayne Prejean.

Shari is survived by her husband, Doug Rardin of Edgewood; mother, Anna Mae Prejean of Edgewood; son, Blake Rardin of Weatherford; daughter, Mallory Rardin of The Colony; brother, Tommy Lee Prejean and wife, Ella of Jennings, LA; nieces, Shanna Prejean, Christy Fontenot, Mia Hulin and husband, Shane and numerous great nieces and nephews.
