Joyce Elane Johnson

Memorial services for Joyce E. Johnson, 76, of Edgewood, are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Hiett's LyBrand Funeral Home in Edgewood. Services are under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.

Joyce passed away Friday, February 16, 2018, in Tyler.

Joyce Elane Todd was born May 17, 1941, in Waco, TX to parents, Guy Davis Todd, Sr. and Katherine Annetta Turner. She was raised in Waco and graduated Waco High School. Joyce attended Baylor University and graduated with an associate’s degree. She married Bill Johnson on March 4, 1960, in Waco, TX. They moved to Paris, TX and various other places in East Texas before making Edgewood their home. Joyce was a branch manager for Bank of America in Wills Point (now American National Bank) for many years. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of First Baptist Church in Edgewood.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Guy Davis Todd, Jr. and her daughter, Kimber Lee Johnson (9/30/1984).

Joyce is survived by her husband, Bill Johnson of Edgewood and daughter, Deana Johnson of Lewisville.
