Jason Author Pierce

A graveside service for Jason Author Pierce, 39, of Canton are scheduled for 3:00 PM, Thursday, December 28, 2017, at Myrtle Springs Cemetery with a visitation starting at 1:00 PM at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 6, 2017, at Clearview Bible Church in Canton, 32651 HWY 47, South of I 20.

Jason Author Pierce was born June 4, 1978, in Dallas, TX, to parents, David Kellam and Alice Geneva Pierce. He was raised in and attended high school in Garland. Jason married Natalie Smith and they had been together for the last four years. They lived in Canton and he worked for FiveCoat Construction Co. of Kaufman as a general contractor. Jason was a member of Clearview Bible Church in Canton. He loved music and spending time with his family.

Jason is survived by his wife, Natalie Smith of Canton; mother, Allie Probst and husband, Greg, of Canton; in-laws, Julianna Smith and husband, William, of Canton; daughters, Charlotte Noel Pierce of Canton and Julia Ann Pierce of Canton; brothers, Brian Kellam and wife, Sarah, of Canton, Derek Dukes of Canton and David Dukes and wife, Casey, of Canton; sister, Stephanie Sawisky of Nederland, TX, along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
