Funeral services for J.B. Wisely Coker, 57, of Eustace, are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 27, 2019, at China Grove Baptist Church in Eustace. Burial will follow at Meredith Campground Cemetery in Athens. Services are under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.
J.B. passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019, Tyler.
J.B. Wisely Coker was born May 16, 1961, in Dallas, TX, to parents, Billy Edward Coker and Martha Ann Wisely Coker. He was raised in Dallas and was a graduate of W.W. Samuell High School. J.B. moved to the China Grove area in 1990. He was employed as a truck driver for several different transportation companies over the years such as Stevens Transport, J. B. Hunt and FFE transportation. J.B. was also a self-employed carpenter until retiring in June of 2015. He was a member of Samuel Place Baptist Church.
J.B. is survived by his parents, Billy Edward, Sr. and Martha Coker of Eustace; son, Jay Coker and wife, Kasey of Edgewood; daughters, Susan Jackson and husband, Neal of Tyler and Chelsea Coker and husband, Chris of Lubbock; brothers, Billy Edward Coker, Jr. of Eustace, Johnny Coker and wife, Susanna of Garland and Paul Coker and wife, Clayton of LaGrange; grandchildren, Kaylee Coker, Mackenzie Coker, Sophie Coker, Madison Bovard and Kei Jackson.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, April 26, 2019, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.
