Donald Ray Caldwell was born on March 15, 1938, in Wills Point, TX, to parents, William Franklin Caldwell and Mary Grace Dixson. He was an automobile mechanic for Braniff International Airways.

Donald is survived by a brother, Joe Caldwell of Wills Point.
