Delmar passed away Thursday, August 23, 2018, in Mesquite.

Delmar Eugene Waldrop was born on January 22, 1954, in Dallas, TX, to parents, Joseph Burleson Waldrop and Mary Margaret Paulk Waldrop. He married Vicki Lorine Wilson on July 20, 1973, in Dallas, TX. Delmar was a heavy duty wrecker driver for Ron’s Towing in Dallas for 9 years and founded the Tawakoni South Fire Department.

He is preceded by his parents, Joseph and Mary Waldrop; wife, Vicki Lorine Waldrop and brothers, Joseph Edward Waldrop and Nash Anthony Waldrop, Sr.

Delmar is survived by his daughter, Mary A. Carroll and husband, Aaron of Wills Point; son, John W. Waldrop and significant other, Wendy Forester of Royse City; wife, Dianna Humphries of Wills Point; grandchildren, Rodmar Loera, Jr. of Grandbury, Lonnie Carroll of Wills Point, Cody Carroll of Wills Point, Savanna Waldrop of Wills Point, Austin Waldrop of Wills Point, John Waldrop, Jr. of Dallas, Mason Waldrop of Dallas and Madison Waldrop of Dallas; great grandchildren, Annilynn Loera of Grandbury and Kodie Loera of Grandbury.
