David Preston Pruner

Memorial services for David Preston Pruner, 66, of Edgewood, are scheduled for 2:30 PM, Friday, May 25, 2018, at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas. Services are under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.

David Preston Pruner was born on March 8, 1952, in Grand Prairie, TX, to parents, La’Doss Pruner and Mary Lou Robinson. He was raised in Mineola, TX and attended Mineola High School. David married Darla Bond Pruner in Dallas County on September 24, 1986. He and Darla lived in Wilmer, TX until making their home in Edgewood in 1995. David worked in manufacturing and until becoming ill and was no longer able to work in 2013. David was of the Baptist faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents, La’Doss and Mary Lou Pruner.

David is survived by his wife, Darla Deanne Pruner of Edgewood, TX; sons, David Lee Pruner and wife, Rebecca of Wills Point, TX, David P. Pruner, Jr. of Denton, TX and Timothy Wayne Pruner of Paris, TX; daughters, Brandi Deanne Hadden and husband, Cody, of Emporia, KS and Lilly Sue Pruner of Idabel, OK; grandchildren, Nadine LeeAnne Pruner, Sarah Lee Pruner, Joseph Paul Pruner, Noah Wayne Hadden and Zayde La’Doss Pruner.
