David Alan Barrett

Memorial services for David Alan Barrett, 45, of Balch Springs, are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Friday, September 21, 2018, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.

David passed away September 19, 2018, in Seagoville.

David Alan Barrett was born June 18, 1973, in Dallas, TX, to parents, Leslie Paul Barrett and Teresa Lynn Swindal. He was raised in Dallas and graduated from Poteet High School. David later lived in Balch Springs and held various jobs over the years working as a handy many and in the fast food industry. He became disabled over twenty years ago after an accident. David was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dallas.

He is preceded in death by two brothers, Christopher Paul Barrett and James Nascimento Barrett.

David is survived by his mother, Teresa Palmer of League City; father, Paul Barrett and wife, Helenice, of Balch Springs; brother, Edward Barrett and wife, Claressa, of Mabank; grandmother, Iris June Carter of Jefferson and a niece, Alexis Nicole Barrett.
