Danny Ray Prestridge

Danny Ray Prestridge, 64, of Edgewood, TX, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at his home. He was born on May 1, 1954, in Amarillo, TX, to parents, Wesley Prestridge and Lenora McWhorter Prestridge. Danny was raised in Amarillo where he attended school. He was an avid fisherman and he loved to watch the Dallas Cowboys and Nascar races. Danny loved his family and enjoyed playing with his grandkids. The family get-togethers were very important to him. They would play pool and dominos, play horseshoes and dance. He would watch his grandchildren play sports and race motor cross. Danny very much enjoyed the outdoors and all the activities you could do outside.  

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Lenora Prestridge.

Danny is survived by his wife, Deborah Kincanon Prestridge; sons, Danny Prestridge, Jr. of Amarillo, Wesley Prestridge of Odessa and Geri Kincanon and wife, Tabitha, of Rayville, MO; daughter, Kristie Holmes and husband, Chad, of Odessa; brothers, Fletcher Prestridge and Dub Prestridge; “twin sister”, Janie Smalley and sister, Gladys Glenn; along with nine grandchildren.
