Brandon Hallman Obituary

Funeral services for Brandon Maurice Hallman, 33, of Rockwall, formerly of Wills Point, are scheduled for 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at the First Baptist Church in Wills Point with Mr. Mark Turner and Rev. Donald Tisdale officiating.  A private burial will be held at White Rose Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.

Brandon passed away peacefully on July 19, 2019, in Rockwall, Texas.

Brandon Maurice Hallman was born April 3, 1986, in Tyler, Texas, to Henry King Hallman and Sheryl Lee Buckmaster Hallman. He was raised in Wills Point and graduated from Frisco High School in 2004. After graduating from high school he attended the Marine Mechanics Institute in Orlando, Florida where he graduated with honors in 2006. Brandon worked at High Port Marina at Lake Texoma and later worked for several marinas in the Dallas area. Later Brandon’s heart led him back to the family business where he became manager of Hallman Memorials. His enthusiasm and new ideas were a great asset to the company. Brandon loved music, enjoyed playing his guitar with friends and lived life to the fullest with the love of his life, Lindsey Wilbourn, whom he married on October 22, 2016, in Rockwall.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Maurice King Hallman and Ruth Manning Hallman.

He is survived by his wife, Lindsey Hallman of Rockwall; daughter, Harper Lee Hallman of Rockwall; father, Henry King Hallman of Wills Point; mother, Sheryl Williams and husband, Mike of Allen; brother, Brett Hallman and wife Cindy of Richardson; nephew, Hank Levi Hallman of Richardson; grandparents, Walt and Bunny Soap of Wills Point; mother-in-law, Terry Sevier of Dallas; father-in-law, Kevin Wilbourn and wife Keenah of Hallsville; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and many close friends and relatives.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Harper Lee Hallman Education Fund in care of the City National Bank in Wills Point (903) 873-4157
