Billy Hugh Bruster was born October 31, 1930 on a farm near Carthage, Texas.
Preceded in death by his parents, JB and Nellie Bruster.
His dad’s job with the T&P Railroad brought the family to Wills Point in 1943, where Billy graduated from Wills Point High School in 1947. He worked for the T&P Railroad until he joined the Air Force and served his country during the Korean Conflict. After his discharge, he attended HCJC and subsequently graduated in 1957 from North Texas State College.
