In Loving Memory William Danny Garner 5/15/1941 - 1/26/2010

Funeral services for William Danny Garner, 68, of Edgewood, are scheduled for 10:00am, Saturday, January 30, 2010, at First Baptist Church in Edgewood with Rev. Don Burns officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery.

Bill passed away January 26, 2010, at his home in Edgewood.

William Danny Garner was born May 15, 1941, in Waltreak, Arkansas, to William Velmon and Jewel Williams Garner. He grew up in and around Los Angeles, CA. On March 6, 1976, in Poteau, OK, Bill married Janice Sue Moore. They have made their home in Edgewood for the past thirty two years, where Bill was owner of Garner Industries and Race Car Products. He was also co-owner of Roto-Rooter in Russellville, AR. Bill loved racing, his machine shop and especially his grandchildren.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, William Garner and Jewel Clark, and sister, Lestine Adamson.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Garner of Edgewood; sons, Tony Garner and wife, Lorrae of California, Billy Garner and wife, Rebecca of Fruitvale and Daniel Garner of Wills Point; daughters, Cathy Soto and husband, Stacy of Georgia and Jennifer Johnson and husband, Corey of Edgewood; sister, Elaine “Kitty” Myers of Fort Smith, AR; brother, Erwin “Rebel” Myers of Fort Smith, AR; grandchildren, Shane Garner, Sean Garner, Christopher Soto, Samantha Soto, Jake Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Keith Garner, Kevin Garner, Gage Garner and DaniRay Garner.

Visitation will be held on Friday evening, 6:00-8:00pm, at the funeral home in Edgewood.
