In Loving Memory Carol Daine Wilson 2/23/1940 - 1/13/2010

Funeral services for Carol Wilson, 69, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 2:00pm, Friday, January 15, 2010, at Hiett’s LyBrand Chapel in Wills Point, with Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Burial will follow at White Rose Cemetery.

Carol passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2010, in Tyler.

Carol Diane Linder was born February 23, 1940, in Chicago, IL, to William and Maggie Inez Bazar Linder. She grew up in San Antonio and moved to Dallas in 1956. Carol married Dan Campbell in 1974, and he passed away in 1979. In 1990, Carol married Eddie Wilson and also attained a nursing degree from Trinity Valley Community College. She worked for Terrell State Hospital for fifteen years until her retirement. Carol was a Christian and of the Baptist faith. Due to her failing health the past few years, she was unable to attend church, but enjoyed watching Joel Olsteen on television.

Carol is survived by her husband, Eddie Wilson of Wills Point; daughters, Linda Tubbs of Arlington, Dorothy Marshall and husband Chris of Wills Point, Rita Daniel of Banning CA and Pamela Pinson of Bloomington, Ca; sister Jackie Caster of Bunkie, LA; grandchildren, Shane Greenhaw, Steven Tubbs, Jeremy Marshall, Scott Marshall and Christopher Marshall; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday evening, 6:00-8:00pm, at the funeral home.
