September 4, 1931 ~ November 11, 2017 (age 86) 86 Years Old

Funeral services for Pauline Annie Faye Warren, 86, of Wills Point, will be held at noon, Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Dr. Jeremiah Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Wills Point. Services are under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.

Pauline Annie Faye Warren, affectionately known as Mama, Mother, Granny, GiGI, Auntie, Aunt Faye, Ms. Faye, Faye was born on the fourth day of September nineteen thirty-one.  She was the sixth of six children.

THIS IS THE DAY THE LORD HATH MADE, LET US REJOICE AND BE GLAD IN IT.

Faye joined Saint Mark Christian Methodist Episcopal Church many years ago as a child. She became a member of the Stewardess Board and the Missionary Society upon her return home in 1967.

Faye was preceded in death by her Dad (Willis L. Ervin Sr) & Mother (Lillian Jacobs-Ervin), her siblings Geneva Dabney. Jewell Washington, Ruby Britt, Berniece Attaway, and Willis Leslie Ervin II. Her husband Noble Dean Cunigan Sr and Wilson Warren and her sons (Edrick Warren & Maurice Warren).

Faye leaves to cherish her loving memories

Sons: Noble Dean (Barbara); Alvin Ray (Ruby) Jerry Wayne Sr (Rosa) and Rickey Andre’ (Lynette)

Daughters: Vickie Kathryn,  Sharon Ann (Dale Sr) and Goddaughter: Brenda Faye Lyons-Maroney

21 Grand Children      41 Great Grand Children   4.5 Great Great Grand Children

First cousins: Rutha Bowers (Edward), Edna Mae Browne, George Jacobs and Vivian Jacobs

Dear friends: Artense Dunn, Louisa Henderson and Wilma Reed.

A host of Nieces, Nephews, and Friends

 

Pauline Annie Faye Warren loved her Church and sitting on her front porch speaking to and waving at all who passed by.

Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, 2017, at St. Mark CME Church.

 

I now can rest in peace as I never could before, I answered the gentle knock of the angels at my door.  So please don’t mourn for me as new wings I now claim. I can take my flight to heaven, because the angels came
