Funeral service for Lois Irene Allen, 75, of Wills Point, is scheduled for 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point with Pastor Archie Engledow officiating. Burial will follow at the Allen homestead.
Lois Irene Bain was born March 18, 1943, at Wright Hospital in Houston, TX to parents, Floyd Kenneth Bain and Mae Katherine Sinor. Lois was raised in Houston and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School before marrying Ennis Randell Allen, Sr. on March 18, 1961, at Market Street Baptist Church in Houston. She was a homemaker and also worked for several years at North Shore Animal Hospital in Houston. They continued to live in the Houston area before they moved back home to the Allen homestead in Wills Point. In 1980-1989, Lois co-owned, managed, and helped run LoRanco Industry, a family business. Lois was of the Baptist faith, an avid artist who enjoyed oil painting, and loved and cherished the time she spent with her family the most.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Mae Bain, brother, Kenneth Charles Bain and great grandson, Stephen.
Lois is survived by her husband, Randell Allen, Sr. of Wills Point; son, Ennis Randell Allen, Jr. of Wills Point; daughters, Ennise Kimberly Heickman and husband, Johnny, of Houston, and Mindy Ann Rice and husband, Chris, of Ollie, TX; sisters, Ruby Henderson and Helen Loftin, both of Houston; grandchildren, Adam Orton and wife, Molly, Jennifer Irene Valentine and husband, Jordon, Cassy Rice, and Kristen Campa and husband, Stephen, John David Heickman, and Amanda Heickman; great grandchildren, Aiden, Jordon, Jr., Kaitlynn Irene, Jaxon, Evelyn, Elysia, and Rebecca; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Monday, April 16, 2018, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.
