Milton family- my deepest sympathies to you all through this time. Praying the God of comfort pours out his mercy, grace and strength upon you during this time. Aunt Doris was always so kind and welcoming to me every time she saw us. One of the sweetest ladies. Even checking in on me several times after Laroy had passed. Such a tender heart and now it gives me peace to know she is with her gracious Father doting on all those that went before her! Love you guys!

Doris was a beautiful lady, both inside and out. I miss her already. To her family, I know that your hearts are heavy, as is mine; but, we must all stick together and comfort each other the way that she would want us to do.

Birth is a gift to enjoy life on earth. Death is a privilege to be free from sufferings and reunion with the Father. A good heart has stopped beating...
a soul ascended to heaven.
I'll always have fond memories of Doris. Her quick smile and positive attitude always cheered me up. Despite the loss of the physical presence of your Wife, Mother, Sister, Granny. We know that God has assigned her to watch over you throughout your life. Everyone who knew her will miss her. May she rest in peace! I love you Bro Lee, Kelton, Kevin & Family.

Kevin, I'm so sorry for your loss.
I don't believe I ever met your mom, but I know she reared a son who loves God and people and has a heart to serve those people with genuine love and affection. I know your life must reflect the Godliness and sincerity she taught you.
Prayers are being lifted on behalf of the entire Milton family.
Love you, Brother.

I could never determine if Doris was God or Jolly old St. Nicholas! Reason being, she would always comment on what was going on in my life, the life of my church, or just life in general! She just always knew. She always called me reverend - not Larry or preacher - just reverend, which I always accepted as an honor given to me by Doris. She left myself and everyone feeling blessed and lifted up! After all, wasn’t that why we went to the doctors office - to be better. Doris took her direction from the Great Physician and made us all feel better! We need more Dori’s in our world!

I will always remember Ms Doris. She used to give me my allergy shots as a teenager. She always had a smile and a cheerful word. She was always telling me to “be nice to my mama”. LOL. I looked forward to seeing Ms Doris every week back in the day. You never know how one person can make such an impact on your life by just one simple thing... kindness. Many thoughts and prayers for Ms Doris’s family and friends. I know she will be missed, and never forgotten.
