Doris Ann Milton, age 68, of Edgewood, Texas, passed away January 7, 2018.  She was born March 12, 1949 in Wills Point, Texas, to Sarah and S.T. Randle.  Doris was raised in Edgewood, graduating from Edgewood High School in 1967.  After leaving high school she enrolled in Texas School of Vocational Nursing and graduated in 1968.  In 1969 she started her nursing career in Austin, TX.  In 1970 she started working in Terrell, TX for Colonial Hospital.  After years at hospital, she went to work for Dr. Sergio V. Figueroa MD in Terrell, TX.  She finished her career at Baylor Family and Medical Center in Terrell, TX, retiring after 46 years of service in the Medical field.  Though she was retired she continued to work part-time for Baylor Family and Medical Center and privately sit with people in the community.  She built many relationships throughout her medical career which she cherished and loved.

Doris grew up as a youth in the Bethlehem Baptist Church.  She was baptized at an early age and began to grow in her faith.  She sung in choir and served in other areas of the church wherever there was a need.  She proudly admitted to anyone that she only had a membership at one church which was Bethlehem.   The church that she loved and remained faithful to until she was called home.

Doris married Lee Otha Milton on April 4, 1969, and together they raised two boys. She leaves to cherish her memories:  husband of 48 years, Lee; sons: Kevin(Denese), Kelton(Chari); mother: Sarah Randle; grandchildren; Lovetta, Kobe, Davin, Deiondrey, Camille, Kyal; brothers; Steve, Kerry(Annie), Cecil(Brenda).  A host of nieces, nephews, special friends, relatives, and friends.

Doris was preceded in death by her father: ST; daughter: Lakesha; sisters: Carolyn Ross, Marie Milton
